Vivek Agnihotri calls Alia Bhatt 'gorgeous, graceful' as he showers praise on her Met Gala look; the actress reacts

Alia Bhatt made her Met Gala debut recently, where she made several heads turn with her white pearl encrusted white gown by Prabal Gurung. The actress has been receiving a lot of love from all sides ever since.

The latest one to join the bandwagon of celebrities who have been showering praise on her stunning

Taking to his Instagram Story, Vivek shared a beautiful picture of Alia from the Met Gala and wrote, 'Gorgeous. Graceful. Wow @aliabhatt'. Reposting it, Alia replied, 'Thank you sir'.

Alia shared a post on Instagram, explaining the inspiration behind her white gown. She had shared, "I have always been fascinated by the iconic Chanel brides. Season after season, the genius of Karl Lagerfeld shone through in the most innovative and awe-inspiring couture. My look tonight was inspired by this and, in particular, by supermodel Claudia Schiffer’s 1992 Chanel bridal look. I wanted to do something that felt authentic (hello, pearls!) and proudly made in India. The embroidery, made with 100,000 pearls, is a labour of love by @prabalgurung. I’m so proud to wear you for my first Met."

Alia is currently awaiting the release of her upcoming film, 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' with Ranveer Singh. The

 directorial also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in key roles. The film will hit the theatres in July this year.
